Description
This BIODIVERSITY flower mix is ideal for creating a meadow-like feel in your garden. Sow it wherever you like on well-prepared soil, and it will quickly offer you beautiful flowering over large areas. Planting flower meadows contributes to sustainability and biodiversity, and is cost-effective.
This flower mix has the main advantage of enriching the soil. It is known as green fertiliser. These fertilisers help to maintain the soil's richness by providing it with organic matter while also obstructing the growth of weeds. This mix helps to fight against erosion. Annual flowers can reach heights of 50 to 60 cm (20 to 24in) and bloom from May to August and from October to February. These mixes, created by the ROYALFLEUR brand, are in partnership with the League for the Protection of Birds in France (LPO).
The mix in these boxes consists of 100g of seeds as well as vermiculite to provide a bulkier medium and allow for better dispersal of the mix over 100m², with a good spread of the seeds. This flower mix is suitable for all amateur gardeners.

Planting and care
Prepare the ground: On weed-free soil, dig to a minimum depth of 10cm (4in). Sow the flower mix, making sure to scatter the seeds evenly, then lightly cover the seeds using a rake and firm the soil. Sowing can be done from April to October. During the first few weeks, water regularly.

It will vary according to where you live:
- In zones 9 to 10 (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), flowering will occur about 2 to 4 weeks earlier.
- In zones 6 to 7 (Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and lower mountainous regions), flowering will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.
- In zone 5 (Central Europe, Scandinavia), blooming will be delayed by 3 to 5 weeks.
In temperate climates, pruning of spring-flowering shrubs (forsythia, spireas, etc.) should be done just after flowering.
Pruning of summer-flowering shrubs (Indian Lilac, Perovskia, etc.) can be done in winter or spring.
In cold regions as well as with frost-sensitive plants, avoid pruning too early when severe frosts may still occur.
